Study a childcare degree at Newcastle College

Our courses within childcare have been designed in conjunction with employers to ensure course content is industry relevant. You will have the opportunity to undertake additional qualifications alongside your degree as well as undertake a work placement to help get you work-ready.

  • learn in smaller class sizes for more one-to-one tutor support.
  • have the opportunity to undertake additional qualifications alongside your degree such as First Aid.
  • be taught by industry experienced tutors who know what it takes to succeed.
  • be assessed in a variety of ways including projects, examinations, portfolios and presentations.
  • have the opportunity to undertake the Early Years Educator pathway as part of our Children and Young People Foundation Degree enabling you to be counted in qualified staff ratios in early years settings.
