Student Accommodation

Living in student accommodation gives you the opportunity to meet new people, gain independence, share new experiences and really enjoy the best of student life. Newcastle College does not own any accommodation or halls of residence directly, however we work closely with several organisations specialising in student housing, to help you find good quality, safe accommodation close to the college.

Rental costs vary depending on the type of accommodation you choose. You will need to budget for at least £3,000 (approx £60 per week) as you will be required to sign a lease for the full year. Newcastle College works with the following accommodation providers:

  • Charlotte House

  • Parrish Court

  • Liberty Court

  • Apartments 1-10 New Mills House

  • Garth Heads

  • Student Castle

These accommodation options are available to students aged 18 years of age or over at the start of their tenancy.

What students say

“As I didn’t know the city too well, living in private accommodation meant that I was able to meet a good group of friends who were all in the same situation as me.”
