Case Study - insurethebox

Objective
Fast-growing insurance company, insurethebox required a streamlined development programme that enabled them to not only train their existing staff but to also upskill existing members of their team.
As a relatively new company, they required a programme that could be delivered flexibly to meet the requirements of their business, as well as one that met the needs of various job roles and skill-sets.
The training also had to be delivered in line with the company’s own personal development programme that sees members of staff benefit from e-learning and additional training opportunities.
In the early stages Newcastle College worked closely alongside insurethebox to gather a firm understanding of the business and the staff development requirements. Taking into consideration the nature of job roles and responsibilities, the college recommended that they implemented Business Administration, Team Leading and Customer Service Apprenticeships to enhance the skills of their team.
As well as internal training, the college has also been able to assist with the recruitment of new members of staff by matching potential candidates to the requirements of insurethebox.
Delivering training at a time to suit the needs of the business, the college has provided support and guidance to ensure insurethebox maximises the development of their workforce.
As part of an ongoing training and development programme, insurethebox have recruited nine new apprentices through the college’s free recruitment and matching service. In addition, they have also placed seven members of existing staff through Apprenticeship frameworks.
The college continue to work in partnership with insurethebox to tailor a number of Apprenticeships to meet their requirements across a range of business areas, with them also relying on the college to support their ongoing recruitment needs.
