Hospitality & Catering

Hospitality

Our staff have worked in top class national and international restaurants, and you can be assured of quality teaching and learning. We have excellent links with regional businesses and many of our students secure employment through work placements.

Students have the opportunity to work within our 65 seater Bistro and the more formal Chefs' Academy, which offers high class dining. We have five modern training kitchens resourced with the latest hi-tech equipment. Students have also experienced a taste of international cuisine through an exchange programme to France where they worked in Michelin starred restaurants and hotels.

Hospitality takes you out of the kitchen and puts you in front of the customer. You will learn how to serve food and drink correctly, develop first-class customer service skills, and learn all there is to know about front of house administration.

We offer a wide range of full and part time industry standard courses from entry to higher education level, including a wide range of professional courses necessary for the hospitality industry.
