Whether you are looking to turn a hobby into paid employment or you are already working in the industry and want that all important qualification, you have come to the right place. You will be passionate about food and giving customers a truly exceptional experience.

Studying in our Lifestyle Academy, a specialist training facility dedicated to developing professional chefs and front of house staff, you will have access to five training kitchens as well as our on-site restaurant, The Chef's Academy, and student bistro.

Our course tutors have many years experience working in the industry, giving you the tricks of the trade to really make your mark.

Skills Bootcamp in Hospitality and Catering Principles: Chef - Level 3

This 12-week intensive Skills Bootcamp will allow you to develop the skills that the catering industry is looking for.

What can I do with an Hospitality qualification?

Daily tasks:

  • Makes cake decorations, spreads icing, fillings and toppings on products.
  • Bakes bread, pastry and cakes.
  • Fills and glazes pastry, mixes ingredients for cakes.
  • Rolls and cuts pastry, stretches, kneads and moulds dough to form bread, rolls and buns.
  • Mixes ingredients using hand or machine to obtain the required consistency.
  • Weighs ingredients according to recipe.
