Financial Support

Financial support

Our student advisers will be able to provide you with the financial advice you require on what support may be available to you to help with course fees. Depending on your age, previous qualifications and current circumstances there are a number of options that may be available to you.

Please note, if you are applying from Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland you may be subject to different funding rules than students who live in England. Please contact Student Services to discuss your eligibility with a Student Adviser.

We have a range of financial support available to adult learners.

If you are aged 19 and over, and wish to study a Level 3 - 6 course, then an Advanced Learner Loan could help you to pay the tuition fees for the course. This is a great way to access courses that previously, for financial reasons, may have been out of your reach.

If you’re looking for help to cover the costs associated with studying at college then the Newcastle College adult support fund could be of interest.

If you are aged 19 or over depending on your circumstances then you may be eligible to study your course for free or at a discounted fee. For the eligibility criteria for free or discounted study please click on the link below.

To view our adult courses that are eligible for free or discounted study, please download a copy of our latest Adult Course Guide.
