Coaching for Success – 27th October 2015

The Professional Training Programme for Teaching and Learning Coaches aims to enable you to:

  • Coach colleagues to achieve individual and collaborative excellence in your organisation
  • Sustain critical professional reflection on practice, both individually and in groups
  • Evaluate current understanding, knowledge and expertise about teaching, and learning and assessment
  • Demonstrate an enhanced motivation and enthusiasm for effective practice in teaching and learning
  • Contribute to, and have a positive impact on, your organisation’s implementation of curriculum development and innovation.
  • Develop and achieve recognition of your coaching skills learn from coaching experts and fellow professionals and extend your learning by applying and practising your skills in your organisation. The Coaching for Success programme consists of two face to face days and supported self-directed activity which allows you to develop and implement coaching interventions in your own organisation.

News! – Bursaries of up to £25,000!

The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) has recently announced bursaries for 2015/16 of up to £25,000 to train to teach Maths, English or Special Education Needs (SEN) in further education colleges.

Subject Knowledge Enhancement (SKE) programmes are pre Initial Teacher Training programmes designed to help applicants gain the depth of subject knowledge needed to train to teach their chosen subject.
